Roller Screw Technology

Linear Motion is produced by the action of a screw turning in a nut The key to the technology is a set of rollers connecting the nut and screw and transferring force between them with very low friction. Each roller has a large contact area between nut and screw. This gives very high force ratings and low wear / long travel life.
Screw balls

The Roller Screw has a large contact area between rolling components.

A Ballscrew of comparable size will have a lower force rating than a Roller Screw .
